Shine week in Nursery
In school we have had a ‘Shine Week’ which is aimed to encourage our children to learn more about the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle.
The Nursery children have thoroughly enjoyed all of the different activities that we planned for them.
Throughout the week some of the parents kindly gave up their time to share their expertise. Mrs Palmer-Morgan talked to us about keeping our teeth healthy, Mrs Davies taught us to dance to different music and Ms Reader, a local farmer, spoke about dairy farming and the importance of good food!
In the classroom we enjoyed making healthy pizzas, tasting different fruits, sorting good and bad foods and talking about how being healthy helps us stay happy…
Here are a few photos of our week – as you can see, being healthy makes us smile!
