We are thrilled to share an overview of the exciting topics and activities your child will be exploring this term. This is set to be a fascinating and enriching period of learning across Literacy, Maths, Science, and Topic.

Literacy
This term, our Literacy focus will center around The Boomtastics, inspiring creative writing and narrative skills. The highlight will be the publishing of our very own extended Space storybooks, where each child will have the opportunity to craft, edit, and showcase their storytelling talent.

Maths
In Maths, the focus will be on percentages and decimals, with an emphasis on understanding and applying these concepts in real-life scenarios. Additionally, students will engage in problem-solving activities to deepen their understanding and develop their critical thinking skills.

Science
Science lessons will delve into the fascinating topic of gravity, exploring its effects and significance in our universe. To enhance this learning, students will experience hands-on activities during a trip to the Techniquest Dome and participate in an expert-led session from Cardiff University.

Topic
Our Topic this term is Space Exploration, where we will explore how humanity connects to planets and the broader universe. This will include investigations into careers in the space industry, aiming to inspire the next generation of astronauts, engineers, and scientists.
